Methodology

This section of the website gives you an opportunity to explore broader methodological questions involved in our ‘accidental’ QL study. How was it designed and how did this change over time? How does ongoing data collection and continued contact with respondents affect data analysis? How can you engage young people in the research process over time? How can a team of experienced researchers work together on a study over a ten year period? What keeps a research relationship alive over ten years? What does prolonged contact do to the research relationship? These are just some of the questions we provide answers to.

BEING INVOLVED IN THE RESEARCH: Read the views and experiences of the young people and the researchers.
