Altering your fonts in Safari

If you are having difficulties seeing or reading on-screen fonts (e.g. Tahoma or Monotype Corsiva), you may wish to alter the fonts displayed.

  1. Click 'Safari' and click 'Preferences' or press 'Apple' + ','.
  2. Click 'Appearance' or press 'Ctrl' + 'F5' to highlight 'General' and press the right arrow key to highlight 'Appearance' and press 'Spacebar'.
  3. Click 'Select' next to 'Standard font:' or press 'Tab' to highlight the 'Select' button and press 'Spacebar'.
  4. Click the font in the 'Family' list you want or press 'Ctrl' + 'F6'; 'Ctrl' + 'F7' and then ‘Tab’ to enter the 'Family' box where you can use the arrow keys to highlight the font you want.
  5. Click 'Fonts' box close button or press 'Esc'.
  6. Click 'Appearance' or press 'Esc'.
