Altering your colours in Mac OS X

If you are having difficulties with the colours displayed on web pages, altering the colours used may improve your experience.

  1. Press 'Ctrl' + 'F2'.
  2. Click 'System Preferences' or use the arrow keys and press 'Enter'.
  3. Click 'Universal Access' or press 'Tab' until 'Universal Access' is highlighted and press the 'Spacebar'.
  4. Click 'Seeing' tab or press 'Ctrl' + 'F7' to highlight one of the four tabs and use the arrow keys to select 'Seeing' tab.
  5. To change to a high contrast white on black colour scheme click 'Switch to White on Black' button or press 'Tab' to highlight the 'Switch to White on Black' button and press 'Spacebar'.
