UK Data Archive
The UK Data Archive (UKDA) is an internationally-renowned centre of expertise in data acquisition, preservation, dissemination and promotion; and is curator of the largest collection of digital data in the social sciences and humanities in the UK. The UKDA is a component part of the umbrella organisation the Economic and Social Data Service (ESDS).
Economic and Social Data Service: Longitudinal
The service currently provides a web-based download service, specialist user support (that also links up with specialist support provided by the Centre for Longitudinal Studies (CLS)), training and workshops and a range of value-added data enhancements for the following longitudinal data collections:
- British Cohort Study (BCS70)
- British Household Panel Survey (BHPS)
- Millennium Cohort Study (MCS)
- National Child Development Survey (NCDS)
Britain's economy, population and society at national and local level. Summaries and detailed data releases are published free of charge.

The Norwegian Data Archive
The Norwegian Social Science Data Services (NSD) is a national resource centre servicing the research community. Its main objective is to secure easy access for the Norwegian research community to data and to provide various services.
The German Social Science Infrastructure Service
GESIS provides services in support of social science research including the development and supply of databases with information on social science literature and research activities as well as the archiving and provision of survey data from social research. Services including consultation on methodological questions, the development of complex methods of empirical social research as well as GESIS’ own long-term observation of social developments with the aid of these instruments are also available.
Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research
ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction, and offers training in quantitative methods to facilitate effective data use.

NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analysing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.
